Yesterday we had the chance to visit the Sony Fall Preview Event at the downtown Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto. Inside the event hall we saw massive displays for Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 3, Little Big Planet 2, and Infamous 2 just to name a few. Killzone 3 was fully playable in 3D, and displayed some of the best FPS graphics to date to go along with some high paced action, and all the high powered weapons we could handle. The Gran Turismo 5 area had full GT5 bucket seats, force feedback, and real gas and brake pedals to give you the full experience. Infamous 2 brought the same action packed, high energy experience we experienced last year with some updated powers and larger scale level design.
The Playstation Move was a large focus in the event room, with games like Socom 4, Lord of the Rings Aragons Quest, and the all new Time Crisis Rizing Storm just to name a few. Socom 4 made full use of the Move motion and navigation controller, with surprisingly accurate aiming and easy mobility across the level. Time Crisis got us extremely excited for this new arcade shooter to hit the shelves!
A couple sneak peeks of DJ Hero 2, Def Jam Rapstar, and RockBand 3 filled the event room with music, and watching groups of people try to rap there favourite songs in Def Jam Rapstar provided a lot of entertainment!
Overall Sony has some serious games coming to the market this Holiday and early next year!
