URGENT NOTICE : PHANTASY STAR UNIVERSE - PC SHIPPING NOTICE

Attention to all customers that have preordered Phantasy Star Universe for the PC. We have just been notified from numerous customers that this title will not be playable online in Europe as Sega is not allowing European customers to open up accounts for online play at the moment.

We have managed to stop all orders that were shipped out this morning and will be holding all orders until Thursday October 26th, 2006. All customers wishing to cancel are now given the option and will be refunded minus a $3.00CAN processing fee. We made the effort to stop shipments as we understand that customers would be upset owning a game they could not play online. Please email psu@videogamesplus.ca with the heading : Cancel PSU order #??????. Orders will then be cancelled accordingly.

All orders that are not cancelled will be shipped out on Thursday October 26th, 2006 as planned.

PS3 Section Now Up! No PS3 Console Preorders!

Due to the lack of systems in North America at launch we will not be preordering any PS3 Consoles. Unfortunatly supply will be very limited at launch and if and when we do get any we will have them up as a first come first serve basis following launch. This is something that is out of our control, and we apologise to anyone anticipating the launch of the PS3.

Games are now up for preorder and will be shipped on release. Accessories such as controllers and blue-ray remotes will be added soon once costs and quantity has been confirmed.

We have received a lot of emails regarding requests to pre-order these great consoles and we are aware that there is a huge amount of interest in them all.

Nintendo DS Lite preorders should be up very soon we are just awaiting pricing confirmation and hopefully they will be up by this weekend (fingers crossed)

Nintendo Wii and Playstation 3 will be put up at a later date although sections for these consoles may be opening up very soon. We will probably be starting a mailing list for these consoles so that all customers interested in preordering can be notified. Please keep checking the news blog for further details.

E3 is now over back to gaming!

The gaming scene wasn't that crazy as companies were prepping for last weeks E3 Event in LA.

Its been a while since un update due to issues with people getting on the site, but now those problems are resolved and theres games to be had.

Lost Magic - DS and Guilty Gear: Dust Strikers - DS grace the booming Nintendo DS this week.

A Couple of RPG's came out for the PS2 this week Metal Saga - PS2, and Atelier Iris 2 : The Azoth of Destiny (With BONUS soundtrack) - PS2.

Racing fans got another quick and fun racing title from Sega this week as Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast - XBOX, Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast - PS2, and Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast - PSP hit the pavement.

Gamers took to the skies with the new installment in Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War - PS2.

World Cup Fever began this week with the release of Fifa World Cup 2006 for all the systems (Except PSP :( it was delayed till May 23rd).

Well another game joins the Region Free List. We have just tested Tomb Raider: Legend - 360 and we can confirm that is is 100% region free.

MLB 2k6 - 360 Not Region Free

Well another 2K game was released this week and yet again it is not region free. We have tested it and it does not work. When will they ever learn.

New This Week

Well this week has been quite slow on releases but a good chance for people to catch up on some of the great games lately.

PSP saw quite a few games come out this week with the release of The Silent Hill Experience - PSP UMD, Bust-A-Move Deluxe - PSP, From Russia With Love - PSP, and Cabela's Dangerous Hunts - PSP.

Baseball Fans got the release of Major League Baseball 2K6 - PS2 and Major League Baseball 2K6 - XBOX.

Other games that trickled out this week are : Commandos Strike Force - XBOX, Commandos Strike Force - PS2, and NBA Ballers: Phenom - PS2.

Next week should be a busy one with the release of Tomb Raider and Battlefield 2 among others.

Top Spin 2 XB360 Not Region Free

It seems 2K Games doesn't like importers as they have again released another game that is 100% NOT REGION FREE. We tested this title on Friday and it sadly does not work on a PAL XB360.

Metroid Prime Pinball on Sale $29.99 Limited Time Offer

We have managed to secure a limited quantity of this great DS game Metroid Prime Pinball - DS at a great price. It is on Sale for $29.99 for a limited time while supplies last.

This is a great opportunity as this title comes with the Nintendo DS Rumble Pack Bundled in, and for importers this title does not come out till late summer in the UK.

We have tested this latest game and sorry to say it is 100% not region free for our UK import customers.

We have tested this latest XBOX 360 games and unfortunatly it does not run on a PAL XB 360.

Busy week! Ton's of New Games!

It's been a really busy week with some amzing titles finally coming out.

The Nintendo DS got a handful of games this week. Starting off with the awesome wifi online Metroid Prime Hunters - DS, and Tetris DS - DS and the RPG Adventure Tao's Adventure: Curse Of The Demon Seal - DS.

The PSP saw a slew of games as well this week with the release of Metal Gear Acid 2 - PSP, Me & My Katamari - PSP, Capcom Classics Collection Remixed - PSP, Go! Sudoku - PSP, and Splinter Cell: Essentials - PSP.

EA Gave us an offer we couldn't refuse with The Godfather - XBOX, The Godfather - PS2. Boxing his way into the stores Kao Challengers - PSP, KAO the Kangaroo Round 2 - GC,Kao the Kangaroo Round 2 - PS2 also saw release this week.

RPG's Fans were not forgotten this week with Suikoden V (5) - PS2. Also marking XB360's First RPG Ever The Elder Scrolls IV(4): Oblivion Collector's Edition - 360, The Elder Scrolls IV(4): Oblivion - 360 have finally graced the earth.

War fans will love Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII - 360 and Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII - XBOX. Strategy war fans will enjoy Worms: Open Warfare - PSP , Worms: Open Warfare - DS , and Warship Gunner 2 - PS2 .

Rounding out the pack are DBZ Buu's Fury/ DBGT Transformation 2 in 1 - GBA and Catz - GBA meow!

Blazing Angels - XB360 100% Region Free

We have tested Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII - 360 and can confirm that it will work 100% on PAL XBOX 360 systems and is region free. Importer's Rejoice!

Elder Scrolls : Oblivion - 360 NOT Region Free

We have just tested Elder Scrolls : Oblivion - 360 and unfortunatly for import customers it is not region free and will not run on a PAL XBOX 360.

New Games This Week

Well this week started off with a Bang! The PSP finally saw some amazing games released and gamers are gobbling them up. Daxter - PSP, Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror - PSP were the big hits while Mega Man Powered Up - PSP, and Neopets: Petpet Adventures - The Wand of Wishing - PSP kept on trucking.



Metal gear fans finally saw the release of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence - PS2, and for the people wondering "no, we do not have a limited edition version". Racing is back with the budget priced Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix (Platinum Hits) - XBOX, Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix (Greatest Hits) - PS2.





Canada is Cold but it got a little colder with the release of Ice Age 2 for All systems. Rounding out the rest of the week are Driver: Parallel Lines - PS2, Driver: Parallel Lines - XBOX, Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters World Championship Tournament 06 - GBA, The Outfit - 360, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Critical Hour - XBOX.

The Outfit XB360 is Region Free

We have tested The Outfit - 360 and it is 100% Region Free, and will run on a UK PAL XB360 system (Please note it requires the xbox 360 to run at 60hz). Another great game is Region Free what will be next?

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - DS is finally coming back in stock after a long winded backorder period. We will be getting stock in this Wednesday March 15th, 2006. All Backorders currently on order will be shipping then.

We just got in Burnout Revenge - 360 and have now tested it on our PAL XBOX 360 and can confirm 100% that it is not region free and will not play on a PAL system. I Guess EA Doesn't like region free titles. Let's hope Ghost Recon will be region free we will be posting our findings on its release.

What Came in Last Week?

Last week was pretty crazy, there was some pretty good releases. MLB 06: The Show - PSP, MLB 06: The Show - PS2 are the first new baseball titles this year for all you baseball fans.

For soccer fans FIFA Street 2 - XBOX, FIFA Street 2 - GC, FIFA Street 2 - PS2, FIFA Street 2 - DS, FIFA Street 2 - PSP also came out.

Fans of the Hit TV Series 24 can now live out the excitement in 24: The Game - PS2.

For the PSP, Street Supremacy - PSP, Ys: The Ark of Napishtim - PSP, and Ys: The Ark of Napishtim - PSP. For the Nintendo DS The Princess is in the House! Super Princess Peach - DS.
